A few subjects which require special attention are hurriedly finished just before the semester ends in many colleges leaving the students to study for themselves concepts which for many may prove to be quite complex. Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) issued employment notification for Safety Engineer and Design Engineer posts on Contract basis for a period of Two Years.

Qualification 

Safety Engineer ->

(1) Candidate must possess Engineering Graduate in Civil Engineering and candidate also have Diploma in Construction Safety from a reputed University / Institute recognized by Government. 

(2) Experience - 05 Years of Post Qualification experience in overseeing and implementation of safety aspects of large Infrastructure projects preferably Metro Rail Project.

Engineer (Design) ->

(1) Candidate should have Graduation in Civil Engineering Discipline from a reputed University / Institute recognized by Government.
(2) Software Knowledge like STADPRO/WALLAP/PLAXIX or equivalent software design is desirable.
(3) Experience - Minimum 05 Years of design experience in a large infrastructure projects. The Design experience of Viaduct, Elevated Stations or Underground structures in Railway/Metro Railway Projects is desirable.


Selection Process: Interview and Medical Examination. The selection process of Interview would judge different facets of knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude and physical fitness. The Candidates will have to pass through each stage successfully before being adjudged as suitable for selection.
