RRB ALP Notification 2018 released for 26502 vacancies. This is a very good opportunity for the candidates aiming for Railway jobs . This particular notification is to fill the ALP Technician jobs. Railway Recruitment Board has released this notification to hire the candidates from the various states. Candidates from the different states can apply for these jobs . EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Assistant Loco Pilot -
10th + ITI/DIPLOMA/Engineering
(3 years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical /Electronics / Automobile Engineering (OR) Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI.)
Note: Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering. Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician / Wireman / Electronics Mechanic / Mechanic Power Electronics / Mechanic Mechatronics(OR) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.
TECHNICIAN GRADE III
Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician / Wireman / Electronics Mechanic/Mechanic Power Electronics / Mechanic Mechatronics
(OR)
Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed ActApprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.
Note: Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed educational/technical qualification SHOULD NOT apply.
Diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be accepted in lieu of course completed Act Apprenticeship /ITI for the post of Technicians unless otherwise specified. Graduate Act Apprentice will not beaccepted in lieu of Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA).
Selection of RRB and Preferences for posts:
Candidates may please note that the RRB wise, Railway wise vacancies indicated in this CEN are provisional and these may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway administrations. Accordingly, RRBs will publish updated Vacancy Table on their websites indicating the RRB wise vacancies against various Railways/Production units and posts after the completion of First Stage CBT. Candidates who secure marks, equal to or above the Minimum Qualifying Marks prescribed for various communities/categoriesin the First Stage CBT shall be advised to exercise their option for RRB and preference of Railways and Posts within the chosen RRB.
These candidates may study the updated Vacancy Table and exercise the options ONLINE as per their eligibility (Qualification, Medical Standard etc) for various posts. It may be noted that candidates can choose only one RRB and indicate their preference of Railway Units and posts against vacancies notified for the chosen RRB only.
AGE LIMIT:
18 to 28 years.
The lower and upper age limit is common for all the notified posts and the same shall be reckoned as
on 01.07.2018.
The relaxation in upper age limit / maximum upper age for the following categories/communities
1. SC/ST candidates - 5 Years
2. OBC-Non Creamy Layer candidates - 3 Years
3. Ex-Servicemen candidates who have put in more than 6 months service after attestation Up to the extent of service rendered in Defence plus 3 years
Persons With Disabilities (PWD) UR - 10 Years
EXAMINATION FEE:
Candidates applying for the posts in this CEN have to pay the prescribed fee as per their category detailed below:
1. 500/- For all candidates except the fee concession categories mentioned below at Sl No 2 `
2. 250/-* For Candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender /Minorities / Economically backward class.*This fee of ` 250 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on
appearing in First Stage CBT.

MODES OF PAYMENT OF FEE:
a. ONLINE fee payment through internet banking or debit/credit cards upto 05.03.2018 till 22.00 Hrs.
b. OFFLINE fee payment through
i. SBI Bank Branch for Challan Payment mode closes on 05.03.2018 at 13.00 Hrs in any branch of SBI.
ii. Post Office Challan Payment mode closes on 03.03.2018 at 13.00 Hrs in any branch of computerized Post Office.
All applicable service charges shall be borne by the candidate. If the fee is paid through off line mode viz (b) i & ii
above, the receipt should be preserved. The same should be produced on demand at the time of DV.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
Only single online application (common to all the notified posts- ALP & Technicians) has to be submitted by the candidate through the link provided on the official website of RRBs.
The entire recruitment process shall involve, First stage CBT, Second stage CBT, Computer Based Aptitude Test and Document Verification as applicable.
The date, time and venue for all the activities viz First stage CBT, Second stage CBT, Computer Based AT and DV or any other additional activity as applicable shall be fixed by the RRBs and shall be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course. Request for postponement of any of the above activity or for change of venue, date and shift will not be entertained under any circumstances.
