A few subjects which require special attention are hurriedly finished just before the semester ends in many colleges leaving the students to study for themselves concepts which for many may prove to be quite complex. FCRI Research Engineer Vacancy


FCRI invites applications from the eligible Indian Nationals for filling up of vacancies in the post of Research Engineer.

Fluid Control Research Institute (FCRI) is an autonomous Institute, set up with the assistance of UNDP by Ministry of Heavy Industry & Public Enterprises; Govt. of India. FCRI is engaged in Research and Development in the field of Fluid Flow measurement and Control. FCRI acts as an apex body for initiating and coordinating theoretical and experimental research in the above areas assisting the Flow product industries/Oil and Gas industries/Water distribution authorities and other process industries in product development and in Quality Assurance.


PAY STRUCTURE: 
Level 10-Pay Matrix: Rs. 56,100 - 1, 77,500 ( 4 posts- Unreserved)

Qualifications:


1) B.E/B.Tech or equivalent with M.E/M.Tech with specialization in any of the following areas or equivalent
a) Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics, Turbo machines, Thermal and Fluid engineering (2 Posts)
b) Instrumentation and Control engineering, Control systems, Measurement and Control (2 Posts)


2) B.E/B.Tech with 5 years of continuous industrial /R&D experience in the relevant field as mentioned above can also apply.
- Application without copy of experience certificate detailing area of experience shall summarily be rejected.


3) The candidates applying for the post essentially shall possess GATE score



Job Profile:
 Execution of sponsored projects, Research & Development in flow products, Management of laboratories engaged in testing/calibration of flow products, simulation of flow problems through CFD packages, etc.

General requirements: 

i. Maximum age limit as on 18/01/2019 is 35 years.


ii. Initially the posting will be at Palakkad, but the incumbents are liable to be posted anywhere in India.


iii. In addition to the pay in the minimum of the pay matrix level, the posts carry DA, HRA and TA as per the Central Government rules.


iv. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentile Score in GATE exam. A written test will be conducted for shortlisted candidates. The final selection will be based on performance of candidates in the written test and interview.


v. The Institute has a progressive HRD policy and provides excellent growth potential for the right individual through periodical merit based performance review system delinked from the availability of higher post, by which the staff can be evaluated for the advancement of their career in the Institute.

viii. Candidates possessing degrees awarded by foreign universities should produce the equivalency certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, at the time of interview.


ix. Out station candidates called for interview will be paid to and fro Second Class railway fare by the shortest route on production of Railway ticket or bus fare on production of bus ticket in case they are not availing the free concession offered by Indian railways for the purpose.




x. Candidates will have to produce original documents in proof of the details furnished in their application at the time of interview. Those who fail to produce the said documents will not be allowed to attend the interview and fare will not be reimbursed


xi. Intimations to eligible candidates for written test and interview will be sent only through email. Therefore it is mandatory to provide a valid email id in the application. However candidates are advised to keep a close watch of the FCRI website www.fcriindia.com/career for latest updates.
